| This phone is awesome, it can pretty much do ALMOST anything. The only thing i can see that u can't do is u cant turn off the beeping sound when you move to the right when typing a text message im use to it but some people could find it rather annoying. Also, u can make any .wav or .mp3 file a text message alert but u can't individualize message alert sounds for certain people in your directory like a motorola razor which seems to be the only phone that i personally know of that can do it but on the plus side you can make any sound or video a ringtone for anyone in your directory which is pretty awesome to have a video play when someone calls. Also, if u have windows vista like i do the software that comes with the phone will install just fine but it won't install the usb driver correctly so you can't upload any files through the software but if you buy a 1gb memory card you can just select mass storage on the phone when u connect to a usb and the vista will detect the memory card right away. So to sum it up, if u dont buy a memory card windows vista won't install the usb drivers correctly and u won't be able to upload any files from your comp to your phone. But, if u buy a memory stick the OP will detect the card and u will be able to just click and drag files to the memory stick removable drive. Thats probably the biggest hurdle. Also, all videos must be in 3gp format in order to work so make sure u download a converter if u wanna add any vids. But all in all its an awesome phone. |
