Nokia Updates the 6300 with the new 6700 Classic Phone

Nokia has just released a new classic phone, the Nokia 6700 classic which the company press release say is a follow up to one of Nokia's highly successful and bestselling phone, the Nokia 6300. Raising the bar in terms of design and materials, the Nokia 6700 sports a beautiful and compact form factor characterized by smooth surfaces, rich materials, and well crafted parts including a full metal keymat. These are in addition to the slew of nifty features that phone offers which believes will make Nokia 6700 a runaway hit when it gets released sometime in the 2nd quarter.
Topping the list of Nokia 6700's key features include a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and auto focus that provides you with high quality pictures that you can easily and quickly share through Bluetooth, via cable or uploading online. The phone also offers fast web browsing through Nokia's OSS browser and HSPA and HSUPA with 10MBs and 2MBs download speeds. It also supports Share on Ovi for letting you to share pictures quickly. Nokia 6700 provides up to 4 hours of talktime of normal 3G use and 300 hours of standby time. In addition, the Nokia 6700 also features an FM radio and MP3 player, a 2.2-inch QVGA display, miroSD support for up to 8GB, 170mb internal memory, and accelerometer with tap command.The phone also features Bluetooth connectivity, and USB 2.0.
The Nokia 6700 is a WCDMA (900/1900/2100) phone and would have an estimated market price of around 235 Euro.
